Maxine Waters attacks FDIC report, Gruenberg works the Hill

The House’s top financial services Democrat attacked an independent review examining allegations of workplace harassment at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

In a statement, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) blasted investigators at Cleary Gottlieb for focusing on the tenure of FDIC Chair Martin Gruenberg and not former Republican appointees like Jelena McWilliams and Sheila Bair.
