Chair Hill says he likes what he’s seeing from Trump

Large swaths of the civil service are under siege. Elon Musk is rooting around inside the Treasury Department, IRS and far beyond. Lawsuits are raining down to stop the Trump administration’s aggressive efforts to reshape the federal government without Congress.

For now, the Republican chair of the House Financial Services Committee is nonplussed. “I like the disruption,” Chair French Hill (R-Ark.) said. “I like the new ideas.”
