President Donald Trump’s approval rating is underwater, NRCC Chair Richard Hudson told House Republicans during a private meeting this morning on Capitol Hill.
The poll, conducted April 13-18 in competitive House seats, has 46% of respondents approving of Trump’s performance and 53% disapproving. This is roughly in line with public polling data.
